Carpet cleaning was the first service offered by Magic Mist in 1973 and it is still one of our most popular services. For residential carpet cleaning, every carpet manufacturer recommends the truck mounted steam extraction method. It cleans deeper than any other method out there. 

There are differences between one machine and another. Magic Mist has chosen to use the machines with the most powerful vacuum. The whole idea of carpet cleaning is to dissolve or suspend the soil in the water and then vacuum that water out. It stands to reason that the more water we take out, the more dirt comes out with it.

Drying time will take 2-3 hours and we do recommend limited walking on the carpet during that time.

 Our technicians take the utmost care when cleaning your finest upholstered furniture.  A quick test is done to determine the ability to clean before moving on to the cleaning process.  A pre-spray is applied to emulsify to breakdown soil and other contaminates.  We then extract removing dirt, spills, pet dander, and dust.  This leaves you with clean fresh smelling furniture for you and your family. 

Magic Mist offers hardwood floor cleaning and recoating. We were the first in Cambria & Somerset Counties to offer hardwood floor cleaning & we are the most experienced!

Every hardwood floor that we clean is tested to insure compatibility with our cleaning agents.

First the floor is thoroughly swept to remove loose particles.  We then use a hardwood floor cleaning machine to apply cleaner, scrub, and extract dirt and solution.  This will leave your floor clean and dry.  

Magic Mist also offers a recoat system to restore your hardwoods to the beautiful condition that they once were. 

Years of traffic, spills and normal wear and tear can cause your hardwoods to lose their shine and luster. We carefully test the floors to insure compatibility and adhesion .Our process includes adding a water born poly coating to revitalize your floors and bring them back to life.  

Question: Why should you get your air ducts cleaned?

Inspect your Air Ducts
You can tell if your heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system needs cleaning by one of two ways. First with a screwdriver, remove a floor or wall register. Then, use a small mirror and flashlight or a digital camera to take a picture inside the duct.
